Nkuto: shea butter made by a women's co-op in Tamale
The 30 women in our co-op make shea butter the way their mothers did. Until now they sold it in bulk to traders for very little.
This campaign pays for a clean processing room, jars and labels, and the standards certificate we need to sell in shops. Backers get the first jars.
This is a fictional demo campaign: the people, figures and contributions are invented. Photo by Emmanuel Offei on Unsplash. The video is a placeholder, unrelated to this campaign: "Spring" by the Blender Foundation, shared under a Creative Commons licence (CC BY 4.0).
All-or-nothing. The organiser receives the money only if the goal is reached by the deadline. If it is not, every supporter is refunded. Backing this campaign is not an investment: you don't receive shares, interest or any other financial return.
